Breathe

Breathe is a interactive installation where a 1000 square foot cube expand and contract with your breath.
Breathing can be controlled both “consciously” and “unconsciously”. Conscious breathing is used in meditation and speech. Breathe is a semi-interactive breathing machine, like a human lung you can consciously control your breath to a degree. Breathe can also operate independently, like the unconsciously state of breathing.
By breathing into the tube a viewer wakes the “unconscious state” of the Breath. Try to sync your breath with the air bag and bring your mind to a conscious and relaxed state, then pause and store this moment in your memory.
